NowDaily is a curated daily newsletter. It’s the best place to get the quick hits so you know what’s happening in Australia. The newsletter is published every weekday and is sent out during the afternoon with the day’s news.
The decline in quality of social media feeds in 2024 is stark. I feel like I lose an IQ point or two browsing through X or Facebook. These sites aren’t the best way to know what’s happening.
As a software developer I know how powerful AI can be. But I also understand its limits and biases. I believe there is incredible value in a daily newsletter obsessively curated by humans.
In 2023 I founded CanberraDigest which has become a popular daily news email for Canberra. Putting together that newsletter each day requires me to trawl through a lot of news. Most News outlets push to provoke and frighten.
NowDaily is news without the rage-bait and anxiety. It’s just news! I do my best to report just the facts without resorting to unnecessary provocative language.
